I would bet Ron has more appearances on CNN and Fox (and FBN) than any of the other candidates, maybe all of them combined. I mean, have you ever seen Romney or Perry on for a quick 5-8 minute appearance with real substantive questions? Maybe I'm missing them, but I don't. So I don't always get...
Any time someone asks me why I'd waste my time and vote on someone who can't win, I respond by asking them why they waste their time and vote on an unprincipled lying hypocrite who they barely agree with anyway. Then I conclude by saying the only wasted vote is an unprincipled, compromised one.
This interview did nothing for me (at least what was shown on TV). The first segment was jokey and funny but lacked any substance whatsoever, then the 2nd segment just jumped right into some more hardcore libertarian philosophy, and JS was sorta interrupting his own questioning.
I'm a fan of...
Not for me actually, I will basically donate $100 every money bomb but I'm not donating the $500 or $1000 unless I get the chance to meet him, get pics, autographs, etc. I did pay $500 for the breakfast in Los Angeles after the last debate (just as I did in '07). So I can't speak for others, but...
My brother in law posted this on Facebook after the debate. I have no source, so take it for what it's worth:
Moderator: 21:00
Perry: 15:30
Romney: 11:59
Paul: 9:33
Bachmann 9:19
Huntsmann: 9:00
Gingrich: 7:02
Santorum: 6:12
Cain: 5:42
He also mentioned it at his fundraiser this morning in SoCal, it was the first thing he addressed in his speech because so many people were asking him about it. He never actually said what they were talking about, but basically just dismissed it as a non-story and went on to say it was the first...
Are congresspeople required to go to this? Is Ron going? I think I recall Ron saying he doesn't go to things like that, but when it hit the media people made it sound like Paul and Bachmann would have to ditch the debate for the speech.
So what is it?
NB I have a personal interest in knowing...
Ron is supposed to be having a breakfast fundraiser here in LA the day after the debate (Thursday the 8th)....I hope this doesn't interfere with that or I'd be not too happy.
Maybe it's just wishful thinking but the networks need to start standing up for themselves and stop falling over trying to accommodate when the POTUS wants to be on tv. How about they collectively say "No" and go on with their business?
