I think that Cruz is actually in cahoots with Rand, and all this is running interference/trolling the media. If Cruz is the "frontrunner" then Rand can swoop in after the midterms and take the lead. The media will be all about Cruz and not Rand, meanwhile Cruz will be getting the liberty...

Until very recently I thought Ron was nuts but loved Amash/Massie. Then *poof* it suddenly all made sense, and I realized I didn't actually think Ron was nuts.

I've had a similar idea, and similar questions, about a potential run in Texas in 2016 or 2018. I've got the same age range as you too.
