Debbie Georgatos: The Tea Party is sometimes characterized as another name for “Ron Paul Supporters.” Is that accurate?
Katrina Pierson: No. There are Ron Paul supporters in the Tea Party, but there are supporters of many others in the Tea Party. I am not a Ron Paul supporter. There are people who call themselves Reagan conservatives. Well, I didn’t grow up knowing who Reagan was, so I don’t identify with him either.
The Tea Party movement is the Tea Party movement. This is an idea of common sense, and no one owns common sense. For people who are new to politics, there is no reflection back to Reagan or back to Ron Paul. Some say that Ron Paul started the Tea Party movement but he didn’t start it as far as I am concerned and there are many people who feel the same way, and it is unfair to tie the movement back to any one individual. Unless, however, they were around in the 1770’s.
Sadly I don't see her getting the nomination. Sessions is rated a "hardcore" conservative, and I'm not seeing any particular votes that can be pointed to that warrant a challenge from the right. Hopefully she has done her homework on Sessions.
She is fantastic! A freedomworks and heritage activist. Head of the Dallas tea party. Strong liberty person.
Once she sets up a website and Facebook page, we'll be able to tell then whether or not she is a liberty candidate.
How can she be a strong liberty person if she is not a Ron Paul supporter?
Not "One of us" but, should be a huge ally. We've got other "Real Deal" Liberty Candidates running near by and closer to her district. 2 I can think of off the top of my head are Stacy Chen in Hd-66 and TJ Fabby in Hd-10
TJ Fabby looks like an exceptional candidate ... surprised he's listed as a Fellow Traveler. I guess we don't know his foreign policy views, but he's exactly the kind of candidate we need to be electing to state legislatures across the country.

We didn't add him because we couldn't find a position on foreign policy & civil liberties. He seems great otherwise.
jurgs01 ... I wanted to let you know that I, for one, appreciate the time and effort that went into creating the candidates4liberty website!
