Katrina Pierson for TX32?

I wish her all the best. She says on her website she was proud to share the stage with Rand Paul, and on her twitter page, she retweeted the photo of the marine not wanting to fight for Al-Quaeda in Syria.

Sadly I don't see her getting the nomination. Sessions is rated a "hardcore" conservative, and I'm not seeing any particular votes that can be pointed to that warrant a challenge from the right. Hopefully she has done her homework on Sessions.

She is fantastic! A freedomworks and heritage activist. Head of the Dallas tea party. Strong liberty person.

hmm
this is my area I will check it out and report back
for the record Sessions teaches others how to win

Interview from 2011:

Debbie Georgatos: The Tea Party is sometimes characterized as another name for “Ron Paul Supporters.” Is that accurate?

Katrina Pierson: No. There are Ron Paul supporters in the Tea Party, but there are supporters of many others in the Tea Party. I am not a Ron Paul supporter. There are people who call themselves Reagan conservatives. Well, I didn’t grow up knowing who Reagan was, so I don’t identify with him either.

The Tea Party movement is the Tea Party movement. This is an idea of common sense, and no one owns common sense. For people who are new to politics, there is no reflection back to Reagan or back to Ron Paul. Some say that Ron Paul started the Tea Party movement but he didn’t start it as far as I am concerned and there are many people who feel the same way, and it is unfair to tie the movement back to any one individual. Unless, however, they were around in the 1770’s.

FreedomWorks has already endorsed her, and SCF is likely to do the same. He is being challenged for not using his position as chairman of the Rules Committee to defund ObamaCare ... taking his cue from a highly unpopular John Boehner instead.

Not "One of us" but, should be a huge ally. We've got other "Real Deal" Liberty Candidates running near by and closer to her district. 2 I can think of off the top of my head are Stacy Chen in Hd-66 and TJ Fabby in Hd-10

Once she sets up a website and Facebook page, we'll be able to tell then whether or not she is a liberty candidate.

How can she be a strong liberty person if she is not a Ron Paul supporter?

She is clearly a Ted Cruz supporter ... if we have any real hope of reclaiming the Republican Party and restoring the republic, we're going to need a lot of Ron Paul's AND Ted Cruz's!

TJ Fabby looks like an exceptional candidate ... surprised he's listed as a Fellow Traveler. I guess we don't know his foreign policy views, but he's exactly the kind of candidate we need to be electing to state legislatures across the country.

Looking at Ballotpedia here, he came in second last time. With Pitts not running again and retiring from the House, hopefully Fabby can tap into a message that resonates with Pitts' base. Will help if there aren't four candidates up for it like last time, too.

We didn't add him because we couldn't find a position on foreign policy & civil liberties. He seems great otherwise.

jurgs01 ... I wanted to let you know that I, for one, appreciate the time and effort that went into creating the candidates4liberty website!

Texas Fred does not approve

For what it's worth Fred also supported Dewherst over Cruz. He's just like my dad. If they can get some weaselly politician to shake their hand a few times then by golly they are a good ol boy and we should support them!

It's the least I can do to make sure information is all in one place. I crowd-source a lot of the info, and there have been people on Facebook, twitter, the Daily Paul, and here who provide awesome feedback.

I am looking at ways to make it more user-friendly for the 2016 cycle, but I want to keep the simple drudge-report like format too. Maybe a dropdown menu to select your district, but that will take some work that I don't have time for now :)

Pierson is great. Called herself a libertarian on her Twitter page before she announced.
