This happened in my district in 2008, where we ousted a McCain supporter from District chair and replaced her with a solid Ron Paul supporter. The vote tied so the County chairman came over and did a coin toss.

Paul is the only Veteran in the race. Was an Air Force Officer. Paul gets more donations from troops, they know stuff we don't. Paul would still spend as much as Bush did in 2005 on National Defense. Tell him the Cold War is over, yet Santorum would still act like he's fighting it by doing...

He touched on this in the q&a, someone asked a question about "those of us older than 25", and he said, you gotta start somewhere, or something to that effect.

I tell them about Ron Paul's challenge to the other candidates to a bike race in 100 degree heat and 100 percent humidity, and no one accepted his challenge. I've had good success with this argument.
