    The Mormon Prophecy

Yes. Do you have any connections with the LDS church who could possibly be convinced that now is the time for the Mormon people to save the constitution of this country as their prophecy suggests?

    Ok, who is still here?

I'm still here. And obviously a lot of other people are too...since it's 10:30 pm PST, and there are over a hundred people viewing the Grassroots forum. We've lost a few...but last I checked, McCain's forums didn't have that many to begin with. :) Bucket Man

** Report Ballot Box Receipts **

Perhaps this is a receipt for only a single machine? If there were four voting machines, it would seem reasonable that the total count would be over 600, and each machine would have about 150. Race #10 Party: Dem * John Edwards: 3 * Hillary Clinton: 47 * Barack Obama: 83 Race #40 Party...

    CA vote accountabliity NOT POSSIBLE.

...people really aren't understanding this. What exactly do you hope to accomplish by recording? Let's say you set up a dozen cameras at every polling place and man each of them with a Ron Paul supporter, and record everything from when the polls open to when they close. It's not going to...

    So Cal Votes not counted

The paper vote was completely unverifiable. There is absolutely no tracking between vote and ballot. Paper voting was no more secure than electronic. Read this thread.

    CA vote accountabliity NOT POSSIBLE.

...seems like half of the responses are focusing on the no ID part. It was four words out of a dozen paragraphs, and totally not the pointof this post. The point here is that vote confirmation is not possible. Paper is no more secure than electronic. The system is designed in such a way that...

    CA vote accountabliity NOT POSSIBLE.

Hello everyone! Yes, vote accountability and tracking in California is not possible. The system is designed to prevent it. I will explain in a moment, but let me give you the complete story, as there is other relevant information as well. I went to the polling place around 3:00pm. I didn't see...

    Fundraising

...by the way...you do realize, don't you, that we're on track to collect SIXTY MILLION in donations this year? After one month, the campaign has received five million dollars in donations. Multiply that by twelve. Sixty million. Last quarter, Ron Paul received more in donations than any other...

    Fundraising

Personally I don't think this campaign will be won by donations. It will be won by people on the ground. Million dollar television ads buys you name recognition. Nothing more. Ron Paul supporters aren't generally people who vote for someone simply because it's the name they've heard the most...

What do I say to a person about Iraq?

Don't. You're wasting time trying to convince people to change their minds. Instead find out what's important to them and tell them why Ron Paul is what they want. This guy likes war? Ok, so tell him that Ron Paul is the only Congressman who had the balls to suggest that we declare war on Iraq...

    My Friend the nut case

Facts will never convince anybody. People resent being wrong about things. Don't try to tell them that they are. Even if they know you're right, they'll still resist. There are lots of issues. Find the ones that they agree with you on, and tell them that they're RIGHT. Agree with them. And tell...

    My Friend the nut case

What if instead of: ...it had gone... Mcnasty: as long as its a republican Mcnasty: i'm fine Dblee: Cool. Then you've LOVE Ron Paul. He is absolutely the most loyal and dedicated Republican out there. Mcnasty: what do you mean? Dblee: He's been a Republican for over thirty years and he's the...

I have yet to meet a single Huckabee supporter...

I actually do know one Huckabee supporter personally. But, ironically, he's planning on voting for Giuliani because he doesn't think Huckabee can win. *shrug*

    Conspiracy Theory for today

So here's our crackpot theory for today: HAARP just recently went online. We're getting "record turnouts" at the caucuses and people on the ground are saying that the caucuses are being flooded with old people. Maybe HAARP is being used to encourage people to vote who wouldn't otherwise be voting.
