Anyone with common sense knows the Fed manipulates certain markets. I see it in the S&P futures very often, but it is very hard to piggyback their action as we are last to receive the information. I feel sorry for people who never question anything because they think it falls under a conspiracy...

Also, Kashkari? from Treasury keeps saying they have stabilized the financial markets. Then, why do they keep dropping?
The Fed wouldn't reveal which financial institutions were receiving money. I would venture to guess Goldman Sachs has received a good chunk of this money. Wouldn't it be ironic if Goldman Sachs was using this money to short the U. S. markets?
May I suggest doing some research before trying to dismiss this as a conspiracy. Why are people from these companies covering all bases? What are they getting in return? I suppose the existence and undue influence of lobbyists is also a conspiracy in your book.
The goal by Feb 5 is $8.4 million. They should take down the $5 million dollar boost, as many are making the incorrect assumption that $5 million is the goal.
