Ron sounds significantly dumber than Rand when he speaks. Ron's arguments are less logical and less persuasive; I'm not sure how that constitutes a "smarter" message.
Now I hope that Ron doesn't run.
His republican primary rhetoric didn't work in 2008 and he has made few or no changes since then. We know that Rand's framing worked very well in at least one state in 2010.
If there is a severe economic downturn soon, Ron may be the better candidate, but...
Graham's image as a centrist can only help this bill in the public eye. The public buys into so many cheesy centrist slogans; we can use all of them to promote this bill. I hope that he takes front and center on this bill.
Right.There is no universal justification for individual claims to property ownership, so the distinction between aggressive and defensive use of force is arbitrary.
