I suspect that if Christie/Kasich finish behind Rubio they'll drop. Rubio's the major threat to them, not Bush (who will probably drop if he's beaten by Rubio in SC).
Edit: double post. Might as well say something different here.
That being said, I agree that Rand dropped too early. I'm not a Rand guy but his message of non-interventionism is needed now more than ever.
So Al Gore and Kerry were the fall guys against Bush?
Its a lot more likely that the Democratic elite and the Republican elite really aren't on the same team. Its almost a zero sum game for power between those interest groups and they really want one of their own in office. Its not just for...
A few thing:
1) Just because someone is insulting someone, doesn't mean they are worried about that person. The Blackhawks, by and large, are not worried about the Wild in the NHL Finals, even though they are trash talking them.
2) Just because someone is worried about something, doesn't mean...
Education serves two general purposes. One, it increases the knowledge of the student. Two, it indicates the level of education to interested parties (employees, etc) who only have a very limited amount of time to shift through (potentially) many applicants. No one is arguing that online...
Also on topic, I had an extremely unusual schooling career. I went to public schools, private schools, homeschooling, abroad for school (AKA where I did not live with my family), at both domestic and international schools. I must say that the public schooling I received by far the worst of any...
Online schooling is actually pretty difficult to pull off, particularly because of testing. Imagine how easy it would be to cheat on a university test given online. This might not be such a problem for some topics where writing is more important than test taking (though even then big classes...
While this is not the way to go about it, it is true that Americans are spending too much on unnecessary medical treatments, particularly at the end of their lives. That needs to be cut down somehow (since it is the rest of us footing that bill in many ways).
This recent filibuster has been a smashing success for Senator Paul. Many people here know that I am not a libertarian, but for the first time I can see Rand Paul as the President of the United States. I applaud his conviction and his stand.
Keep it up!
Letters over small-to-medium things (or big things the Congressperson doesn't give a damn about) can actually be fairly effective. You won't change your congressmen's mind on anything big, though. At least not usually.
The Republicans are overreacting- just as the Democrats did after the 2004 election. Back then people were talking about how the Democrats would become a 'regional party'- now its the same for the Republicans.
Honestly, Republicans have every chance in the world to take the Senate in 2014 given...
That's going a little too far. In most cases both party's main candidates have enough money to compete for the Senate, so it isn't 'bought' when it comes down to the general. The primary can be bought though, and most people don't have the kind of money needed to run.
