I can't make the anarchist leap.

"Murder is wrong, we should not murder." "Show me one example, JUST ONE, of a society that has no murder. It's stupid to desire a society that has no murder, because one has never existed." Your argument is so ridiculous, it barely deserves this much of a response.

I can't make the anarchist leap.

That's your argument against anarchism? It's stupid? That's it? I guess my counter would have to be, don't let your state brainwashing get in your way of being able to form a cogent argument.

I can't make the anarchist leap.

Then we'd be right back to where we are now, so at the very least, we don't lose any ground, and at the most we get liberty. As a minarchist, you've already resigned yourself to what you fear of as an anarchist. So it's either admit defeat, or at least try bring about liberty. I say give it a try.

    Is Taxation Theft?

Why should I have to pay tribute to a bunch of thugs? Cause they have more guns than I do? Cause a bunch of people think their authority is legit? If I don't consent, it's immoral for them to take my money by force for any reason. If it was 299,999,999 to 1, they still don't have the right to...

    Is Taxation Theft?

Oh I'm far from angry (just the opposite, infact). And don't think that I don't know the constitution either. I was actually going to paste that Jefferson quote to you when I saw it scrolling through posts, but then noticed it was actually yours! Why would we think that after creating one of the...

    Is Taxation Theft?

Maybe you should read it, cause it took about 5 seconds to get to "The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes" How is that not giving a group of elites (congress) power over me? I can opt out of the taxation by congress without recourse? Not likely.

If I lived in a swing state, I'd vote for McCain.

It's a pipe dream to think that any political candidate can restore anything from its current state. I say let the behemoth crush itself, and the faster the better. If I voted, I'd probably vote for Obama to bring about the collapse faster, but then again, McWar and his itchy trigger finger...

    Is Taxation Theft?

How is a document written 200+ years ago binding on me today? I didn't sign anything, I didn't agree to grant powers to a group of elite individuals over me. If I don't consent, and taxes are still taken from me for whatever, how is that not theft?

    Is Taxation Theft?

You don't. If you believe taxes are theft (they are), then every state you could dream up is inherently immoral.

need some financial advise: I have debt

Ya, I used his strategies and paid off $35k last year. Go take one of his classes (usually held at a local church), it'll help you get some encouragement and see that $7k is doable.

Comprehensive Argument on the Unconstitutionality of the Income Tax

The income tax (and any tax) is immoral, which is a much better argument than how unconstitutional the tax is. The unconstitutional argument just distracts from the real problem.

When Discussing Capitalism with people, they bring up walmart as a flaw

Sounds an awful lot like, "If you don't like the US, you can leave and go to Japan, China or Mexico..." The system is corrupt, and I'm violently kept from opting out or creating my own system.

When Discussing Capitalism with people, they bring up walmart as a flaw

How's that? Big corporations suffer from the same socialist economic calculation problem a government does. They are terribly inefficient. The only reason competition hasn't pushed them out is because state violence keeps them in power. If you take away the violence (ie, have a free market), we...

When Discussing Capitalism with people, they bring up walmart as a flaw

Wal-mart is a flaw of capitalism. All big corporations are flaws of capitalism. To the vast majority of the public, capitalism is what we have today, which is evil. Capitalism as defined by Rothbard and such is not what we have today. When I hear libertarians use the word capitalism, and then...
