He's hardly a "different kind of republican". I also think we live in age where people don't care about ideological purity, and care mostly about getting the job done.
Aside from the chromosomes, but pertaining to issues, it seems to be they both harbor some of the same views, but anyone notice any differences between their policies?
What the Democrats are offering are not as cartoonish as the Republican party. You would never see Trump or a lightweight like Carson get voted high in the polls in the Democratic race.
You never see the variability and wishy-washy-ness, nor the bizarre candidates polling high (Ben Carson??? Trump??? Carly??? WTF). At least with Democrats they at least have a bit more civilized and reasonable candidates on their list, which I don't agree.
