Anti-Barrs are Coming Out of the Woodwork

Anti-Barrs are not coming out of the woodwork. Many of us weren't anti-Barr before today. I wasn't planning to vote for Barr, but I wasn't against him. Today, that changed! I am NOW an anti-Barr!

I vow to NEVER vote for Bob Barr. *Bump For Support*

I've never trusted Barr because of his past voting record. It's hard to believe that he could make that radical of a change that quickly. But this puts the nail in his coffin. It's very clear that he is no supporter of liberty! My vote will go to Chuck Baldwin, who will be on the...

Mccain Begs for money, how pathetic they are!!!

I've received 2 fundraising letters from McCain, and I plan on sending them both back with some good old Ron Paul slim jims. I might even throw in my two cents (literally) and a letter telling them what I think of John McCain as a Republican candidate.:)

How's life treating everyone personally during these unstable times?

Believe it or not, my business has gotten stronger over the last few months. I guess people just have to have their computers.:D

    Congrats and Thanks, Deb

I want to thank everyone, too, especially the volunteer medics who brought me water and an orange when I was laying on the ground trying to keep from passing out due to heat exhaustion. If not for you guys, I would've had a very bad end to an excellent day. God bless you all for your efforts!

Estimate the size of the DC March

The march route was about 1.1 miles according to my map. At one point, we stretched almost the entire distance of the route. Let's say 0.8 miles, just for arguments sake. If there were only about 2000 people as some are saying, then we would have had to be marching single file about 2.1 feet...

Great video showing the HUGE number of people at the march

The march route was nearly 1.2 miles, and at one point we stretched almost the entire distance. If there were only 2000 people, then we would have had to be single file, 2.5 feet apart. I think the video easily debunks that. There had to be AT LEAST 8,000 - 12,000 to stretch that far and...

    My impression of the rally.

I enjoyed Jack McLamb's speech. The mailbox stickers sounds a little far fetched, but I wouldn't rule it out. Yes, he did talk about God, but he wasn't trying to convert people. He was simply saying that this nation was founded on Christian principles, and like it or not, that is true. He...

    My impression of the rally.

I was in Philly for the rally that had 5000, and this was FAR larger than that. I'd say there had to be at least around 10,000. Where people are coming up with 1000 - 2000, I don't know. I'd hate for those people to estimate my taxes! I'd be paying penalties for years.:D I'd say the march...

    Hotel question

Try going to priceline.com and bidding around $55 for a 2 1/2 to 3 star hotel near Dulles Airport. It almost always works. I'm staying in a Holiday Inn for $55.

How many people are realistically expected to attend?

I have no idea, but I know most of our active Meetup members are attending, so count us for 6-10. I wouldn't miss it for the world!:D

    Weather Forecast?

Right now, the forecast for Saturday is sunny and 89 degrees. Count on it being rather humid as well. It typically is this time of year. Pretty normal forecast, but you can never rule out an afternoon thunderstorm with those types of temperatures.

Who is going to The March on Washington?

I'll be there, and about 6-8 others from our Meetup group who aren't a part of this forum.:D
