When listening to Newsweek's 2022 interview of this guy, which can be found here, it just seems really sad. He really honestly seems to believe that, out of the blue, Russia just decided one day to invade Ukraine for no reason other than that the Russians are evil. It reminds me of the Two...
From the video:
Daniel McAdams: "Ukraine has invaded part of Russia. … They are using U.S. bombs, U.S. military equipment, U.S. guns and I watched a couple clips over the weekend where you could hear the troops speaking English. So they’re U.S. mercenaries. So imagine the scenario where...
I will get castigated on this forum saying this, but it needs to be said. The religious nutjobs in the Republican party turn off a lot of voters. These are the people who are the biggest cheerleaders for the genocide in Gaza because they believe prophecy says the Zionists must take every...
This is insane. And only a few in the progressive left and libertarian right seem to care. Russia has every right to strike back. And when it does, the majority in this country will blame Russia as being aggressive, the MSM will take their cue and foment hysteria and this story will be buried...
So it's not $61 billion to Ukraine. It's $61 billion + $8 billion that was supposed to go to Taiwan + $5 billion in frozen Russian assets: total going to Ukraine $74 Billion. If Biden has the ability to give more to Ukraine, he will do it. His obsession and hatred and bloodlust for Russia is...
Thanks. I don’t know anything about big container ships, but it seems rudder control is most important even if the engine isn’t running: why would a ship builder not have an emergency generator tied into powering control of the rudder?
Great Video. Thanks for sharing.
So the ship's emergency generator which is relatively small (about the size of a truck engine) is tied to just a few systems, one of which is control of the rudder.
So the question is why it appears they have no rudder control despite the emergency generator...
It looks like the power went off two times. The ship was going forward without power, but with a good amount of momentum, the first time and when the power came back on, the pilot put the engine in reverse. Doing so caused the prop walk (the ship to turn). Normally prop walk can be corrected...
That's a nice perk for being part of the military. So here's a guy that never has to work anymore and can do anything he wants with his life and he chooses to kill 22 people and wound dozens more. Very sad.
It looks like Ukraine used U.S. supplied HIMARS systems and blew up 3 bridges that cross the Dnipro River near Kherson to stop supplies getting to Russian troops that are now located on the western side of that river. I read the Russians installed a couple pontoon bridges and ferries to cross...
