Ice machine cleaning/maintenance is something I do regularly. I DO NOT drink ice from a machine I haven't cleaned myself. If not properly maintained, they are a horror show of rainbow colored slime and mold.

This is not accurate, as the numbers you cited are the results from the non-binding "Presidential Preference Poll," essentially a straw vote. Just over 5,000 votes in the entire state for 2008. No delegates are awarded from this vote, it's done at the state convention the weekend of May 5-6...

I can tell you Whitefield, in Lincoln County, was 2 2 0 2. That was straw votes, and delegates, with 3 delegate slots unfilled.

Coming home from work today, I spotted the very first sign I had seen from the Romney campaign. By the time I got home, I had seen a total of about 10 more, all the same. Wondering if any other areas experienced this today?

My understanding is that all party changes must be turned into (or must have arrived by mail) the town/city by the end of the day. First time registrations are valid on the day of the vote. Previously registered repubs are all set. I am no authority on these matters though. RP2008 says today...
