Zogby Tracking: Ron Paul at 7% in NH

Wow we got a long way to go then if thats true and theres no reason not to believe the polls now.

Paul has to do well in New Hampshire, not because New Hampshire itself has any great political significance compared with other states, but because it is a test of the message. If Ron Paul's libertarian message does not resonate with New Hampshire voters, whose license plates read "Live Free or Die", home of the Free State Project, who are known for their independent, libertarian stance on politics, then it is proof that Ron Paul's message is simply not popular enough for him to be president. This shouldn't come as a surprise. Ron Paul and other libertarians have been preaching the same message for decades and its landed on deaf ears. Now a few more people have started listening but that doesn't mean the entire country is converted or ready to be. Ron Paul needs to take 1st or 2nd in New Hampshire to prove that his message is really resonating with the American people. If New Hampshire isn't willing to back Dr. Paul you can rest assured that the rest of the country, who is far more moderate, will not.

10% - Pathetic
20% - Sorry, better luck next time
30% - Maybe we're getting somewhere
40% - This country is ready for big changes! White House or bust!

I agree

That means he's at 7% based on IA results. Zogby had RP at 10% yesterday in IA.
Yeah, I think the Zogby poll fairly accurately reflected the final results, give or take a few percentage points.

I think the thing that'll hurt Paul most in NH is Obama's success in Iowa, which might draw independent voters away from Paul (who won the independent vote in Iowa among GOP candidates).

10% - I guess this is the best we can do in the GOP primaries.
15% - More delegates for Paul, and we should be able to keep building on the momentum.
20%+ - A surprising victory for Paul, which will bring along a lot of headlines, and will convince a lot of people who have been on the fence to finally join the revolution.

If paul can't get or approach 20% in New Hampshire, we're screwed. Seriously, this is the state tailor-made for his message. If it goes like a lead balloon there, I don't know what can be done.

The state may be tailor-made for his message, but his message is still not being broadcast all that much.

Aim for 15%. That's a 50% improvement over Iowa. Aim for 20% or so in the next batch of states: Michigan, Nevada and South Carolina.
