View counts for videos that get tons of hits, for some reason, are occasionally slow to update. Its not just the case with RP videos, it has happened to other ones as well. Its not censorship, its just the way it is.

You guys are really over the top now. Are you thinking this is actually on purpose? Views are most likely never done instantaneously to go up upon entry of a video, they do this to save CPU Time. They probably have views go up every 30 minutes or so. If the script that updates the views breaks for whatever reasons (There are a couple), then it won't update.

Exactly! If it wasn't for YouTube, I wouldn't have seen a fraction of the debates or news clips featuring Ron Paul.

Guys really, I don't trust the media just as much as you guys, but you find every little glitch and technical difficulty and blow it up into a conspiracy against Ron Paul.

That's a bit weird, but it's extremely unlikely that it's intentional. Google owns Youtube, and I remember reading that Ron Paul is very popular among the techies at Google. Furthermore, there would have to be some existing mechanism (put in by Youtube coders) to stop the viewcounter on videos Youtube decides it doesn't like, since coding it in last-minute in an ad hoc manner would probably cause some unintentional mayhem in their systems. While that's entirely possible...I doubt it. Now, if the favorites and ratings numbers mysteriously drop below 213 to avoid looking suspicious, then I'd start asking questions.

8,558 comment and 213 views that means 8,345 people commented on something they no nothing about. Given the current elections I could be lead to believe this is true, not likely though.

More videos are being affected by this. YouTube has been updating alot of stuff on their website and glitches happen. When the views update, we will be on the most viewed front page.
Look at the positive side. We got the #1 spot on the Top Rated and Most Discussed today.
Tomorrow or the next day it should be in the top of Most Viewed. So, that is more than one day in the top spots on YouTube.

There are 252,000 views this morning. It doesn't update in real time, this has been discussed on here before. They only update once or twice a day. You TUBE still rocks.
