[YouTube] FOX NEWS RON Paul MONEY BOMB!!

Some videos to add to the site, if that is what you would like to do. I think it would help encourage people to donate and educate others as well. There is no shortage of Fox News smears and I'm sure this list will expand quickly:

I'm sooooo in. Here's my original post on this subject where it appears Treavor Lyman responded: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=97936&highlight=faux+news+money+bomb

We have to make this thing HUGE!!!! $10 million at least. That means keeping all of the previous successful actions in of the earlier money bombs such as:

1. $100 minimum to sign up (but you can donate whatever)
2. promoting it like crazy everywhere
3. MODERATOR: please sticky this thread -- replacing the MLK money bomb.
4. Having Ron Paul mention it and getting it out in the media

LET'S DO THIS!!

Sorry, but I don't like that video at all. Why on earth would we want to re-air all those slurs?! We, RP supporters, recognize those misdirections and smears for what they are, but people seeing or hearing them for the first time, could well believe them.

Another video needs to be made that, at minimum, tells what the truth is, rather than letting those lies, misdirections, and smears stand alone like that.

If done right and properly promoted, this one could be easily a 2+ million money bomb.

The website at the least needs the date of the money bomb added to it ASAP.

call to action

We need to make a clear call to action not only to Ron Paul supporters, but to everyone disgruntled with Fox News.

Perhaps we could make the page headline read something to the effect of:

"Ron Paul Enthusiasts! Dennis Kucinich Supporters! Liberal Activists! Libertarians! True Conservatives! Democrats! Civil Rights Activists! And Free Thinkers from all Walks of Life! Now is the time to band together and show Fox News that they cannot ignore us - that we are truly a force to be reckoned with! We are sick and tired and we are not going to take it anymore. The MEDIA WILL NOT ELECT OUR PRESIDENT! We request that all individuals who have faith in a fair election, donate on (set date) in order to help ensure that every presidential candidate, including Ron Paul, has a "fair and balanced" chance at winning the election."

P.S. we have to act fast on this as I am sure these posts have already been leaked to news outlets.

what Date?

Can we stop putting our head in the clouds and guessing how much this could make- and actually work out WHEN we are going to do it??

Great idea! Fox deserves some extra blowback!

Seems abit short notice , but lets do our best to get the word out. I certainly will!

After 2nd thought, I'm NOT IN!

BAD IDEA

When I watched the video, I thought it was a pretty neat idea, but after thinking about it, I think we would be better served by picking the next money bomb after one of the founding fathers, like George Washington's birthday, or President's Day. I really don't see how doing this to FOX will help our message get out. It may actually have some blow back for us. Do you want this video, or clips of it, to air on MSM channels? I don't, I don't want people to see Dr. Paul being made fun of. The more I think about it, the idea seems less and less likely to help Dr. Paul. I think it could hurt him. It will make us, his supporters look like a bunch of whiners, like Alan Keyes looked in one of the debates, complaining about fair treatment. Have you noticed that Ron Paul hasn't done this? When asked about how he is being treated he will always respond kind saying something like he thinks he could get better coverage, but he is never bitter or angry about it. This idea makes us seem bitter and angry and I don't think that is the way to draw other people to the message. Let's compare Dr. Paul to George Washington, or some of the other presidents for the next money bomb, and leave FOX to their den. Please, let's not do this money bomb against FOX, let's do something to make Ron Paul the next President.

You've raised some good points, but I think it's safe to say that people will rally against Fox more than the will rally in favor of George Washington. There are also a lot of Fox haters who could empathize with the treatment Paul has received and be turned on to him.

Though I agree with your points, we would get a larger turnout with this Faux News Money Bomb. What's fox news going to say? That it's true, they are censoring Ron Paul?

I agree. The spontaneous response in this thread to that (admittedly somewhat cringe worthy) video is proof that this is a winning theme. It is very reminiscent to the first video and thread for the Nov. 5th money bomb. There is no denying that this theme will have a powerful emotional impact on the grassroots. It has the essential spirit of rebellion and will be a way for people to vent their frustrations with what we've been putting up with. Plus, people who are reluctant to donate to a money bomb because Ron has yet to win a state's primary might be tempted to do this money bomb out of the worthy cause of getting revenge on Fox News regardless if Ron can win the nomination or not.

At the same time I fully acknowledge the risk of bad media that this may induce. Just like all the concerns that many of us had about the "V" theme for Nov 5th. They are very legitimate concerns. Please when promoting this money bomb don't go all nutso with the CFR talk etc.

But I just think that it is very hard to pick a theme that gets people excited. And when one emerges naturally like this and people immediately respond with hyper-enthusiasm (like in this thread) you simply have to accept it.

My only concern is that Feb 2 seems like not enough time for this. But whatever day is decided on, Count me in!

QFT.

Need a short/concise video that shows many short clips that all make the media look bad and not Ron Paul for people who know nothing about Ron yet. Maybe some of the content from www.Rwned.com could be used to show how Ron has handled himself heroicly in the face of all this mistreatment.
