YOUTUBE BLOCKING Rand Paul's Presidential Annoucement

How dare YouTube exercise its freedom in controlling content on their own website. This is what freedom tastes like Paulites.

No one is making that argument. I will petition this forum admin to exercise some freedom on your IP address, I bet you'll be right back in here via proxy railing on how this site is hypocritical for squelching free speech, won't you? you are like a boil that needs to be drained.

There should be some artistic license - when you have background sound that is ambient - however when something is a staged event that may be different.

It Starts: YouTube Pulls Down Rand 2016 Announcement Video

*note: Didn't see newbitech's post on this here: http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showth...BLOCKING-Rand-Paul-s-Presidential-Annoucement

Nothing sucks the wind out of the presidential campaign announcement sails like a little copyright law dispute. As noted by Vox's Andrew Prokop and detailed by The Washington Post, Rand Paul's official announcement video was suspended thanks to YouTube's "Content ID" system.

What is WMG?

...Warner Music Group. Again, people, it's part of a quick algorithm that allows corporations and companies to quickly make a claim on something that remotely sounds similar to their content...it's the organizations, not YouTube itself. I'd ask when people would stop being so paranoid and actually do some homework, but that'd be giving people too much credit.

I sent a link to a friend, he says it is working. :)

it was a link from JCTs thread. on this website.
