without listening to him, it seems form what you all say that he basically wants to continue the original intent of the war...find the guys who attacked the country. if this includes removing troops from iraq and ending that pointless war, but continuing to find the REAL bad guys, i agree with him.

yes brilliant attack a whole country and kill everyone there.....another 650,000 people for one idiot........there are children growing up under occupation in Iraq....you probably also assume they would grow up loving America for occupying them...........great we need another country to be under occupation......I wonder sometimes if people actually think before they churn out rubbish.....ughhh

i know exactly what i said, obama wants to continue the war against TERRORISTS, not countries. ron paul supported that very act back in 2001 and hell, just a few days ago on MTV.

He talked about the war being in the MOUNTAINS of Pakistan...the mountains near the Afghanistan border is where Osama Bin Laden is believed to be hiding.
He did not talk about attacking the whole country or the capital Islamabad or removing its leader Musharraf.

hahaahaha...whoa who was your geography teacher ...might want to give her hell...so your are saying somehow the MOUNTAINS of Pakistan is not part of the sovereign nation?...it does not have inhabited people there.....FATA federaly administered tribal area is part of Pakistan and any attack on those "MOUNTAINS"...means an attack on Pakistan....what you are saying is attack Hawai but not US .....gosh the ignorance that exists is just not even funny any more....

also if you read history ....that land has not been conquered or attacked with success by anyone....not by the British Empire and certainly not by the Soviets....go figure how we will do in the area where those guys practically grew up in.....

better start opening those geography and history books young man......and enlist your name for the draft

Getting involved in Pakistan is extremely dangerous...Folks wil be getting the same ole mess with obama.

I have to agree that Obama was referring to pursuing Bin Laden, which I don't believe anyone is against. Our original intent was to invade Afghanistan and pursue OBL there; of course the administration was blinded by black gold and changed focus (and I'm sure they've secured those resources in Afghanistan). I can't fault Obama for wanting to revert back to our original intent. Musharraf *will* be very much in favor of allowing us into Pakistan to either verify Bin Laden's demise or engage him further, after all Musharraf is our puppet and if he fails to listen I'm certain we'll prop up another dictator in his place. I don't condone those actions, but I do condone pursuing Bin Laden, and I'm confident a diplomatic agreement could be worked out to work in conjunction with local military or police forces to aid in the pursuit.

Ron Paul does not equal 100% peace. As a nation we most certainly retaliate when we are attacked.

Obama is, like Hillary, a wholly owned subsidiary of the military-industrial complex. On the Republican side, McCain salivates for world war, and while Romney is not insane, he is prowar too. Huckabee is a junior McCain. Then there is the one peace candidate. (Thanks to David for this YouTube on Obama vs. Ron.)
