What is your religious affiliation? This is a new poll in 2016 to compare to an old one with exact same options done close to when this site was only a 1.5 years old.

The old poll was conducted in October 2008.

Here is the original thread link to that one:

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?165589-Your-religion

Here are the 2008 results:

Atheist / Agnostic 22 37.29%
Buddhist 2 3.39%
Christian - Catholic 6 10.17%
Christian - Other 17 28.81%
Deist 3 5.08%
Hindu 0 0%
Jewish 0 0%
Muslim 0 0%
Neo-pagan 0 0%
Taoist 1 1.69%
Universalist 1 1.69%
Other 3 5.08%
Undeclared 4 6.78%

Other.

And I would also separate Atheist from Agnostic. One is an affirmative disbelief. The other is "meh there could be a god but I'm not sure"

I know for a fact that the number has switched a bit since in 2008 I was still a member of the Roman Catholic Church (though I was leaning towards Jansenism and was doubting the infallibility of the papacy, nay, everything that Rome had ratified by council since the late 17th century) and I've since completely renounced the ecclesiastical legitimacy of the Roman system and adopted Presbyterian polity and soteriology.

Missouri Synod Lutheran . That has always remained the same . Other than that , I basically started as a Constitutional Conservative type Libertarian and then graduated to an Anarchist .

I voted for the sake of comparison, but I'm pretty irritated that despite experiencing a massive shift in faith since 2008 I'm still in the same category, which as an aside, will be chosen by people on this forum who do not belong in it at all.

bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb bomb Iran

Early results suggest a trend toward Muslim. Blowback from the D&R party neocon alliance Hillary/Trump, McCain/Kerry, Obama/Lindsey Graham, etc.?

Born as Catholic...Don't go to church..Don't believe in religion..I'm not sure about God...I call myself Agnostic...

Wow.

Dude is obviously a little mixed up. A few cards short of a full deck then he replaced some he did have with some Pokemon cards and a few Magic the Gathering cards.

He does make an interesting point connecting the idea of a police state to the census of King David. Also, characterizing God as "disgusted and bored" with people's crap seems somewhat accurate.

Very angry though. A lot of hate inside. Needs to correct that.
