Yes!!! I just got back from my county Republican meeting where I had signed on as a committeeman, and have just taken the position of County Republican Chairman!

After giving a speech on my work and efforts, where the party is, and what I believe. I told them what I wanted done and how we can make the party grow. I got standing ovations and was unopposed for the Chairman position. My next meeting will be to facilitate the Republican women's meeting and start up the young republican's weekly meeting. So we can bring true conservatism back to the Party!


Btw, don't think you can't get in just because you dont look the part...

I didn't have a written speech... I run 4 meetups so im used to winging speeches...
This is kinda what I said... so say this:

Say who you are...
What you've done
why you've been doing them
Talk about how worried you are about the country, and the party.
Give reasons for both (good reasons)
Bash democrats
Bash McCain for being a democrat.
Talk about how we've lost our way.
Then back to True conservatism.
Plug Paul
Then talk about how the Party is falling apart.
We got kicked out of office two years ago because of the loss of our conservative principles.
Were hurting at the National, state, and local levels
Then talk about local level participation and the merging of the RP activist groups.
Getting more people from church involved.
And talk about bringing younger people into the party.
And leave with a Very optimistic happy note...

Basically all of what I said... lol, something along those lines...
