There will be no Fed, SJohnsson, so I'm not even worried about that.
Under a Ron Paul Presidency, you can be the Fed Chair during the dismantling process. I am personally lobbying to be the ass't secretary of Education doing the same thing. I'm good with a red marker and I can get people to pack up their offices lickety split.

Hey, I go to UMD. A few people and I have started organizing ourselves. We are trying to get a table out in front of Stamp Union, but we need a group to sponsor. If you guys know of one, let me know.

Also me and a friend of mine are going to put up flyers, bumper stickers, and chalk the campus next weekend (i think), if you want to join us that would be awesome.

I have a few *ahem* connections with the UMD NORML chapter and SSDP...

As for the chalking and fliers, I'd like to be a part of that.

What are the specific rules about this on campus?

You have to have a permit from the school to legally put up fliers. I can't remember what the procedure is to acquire one.

Well, Me, Zach, Erin, and Alex have been making some moves or at least gathering, so we need to start like that chalking and all that...the primaries are in 3 months....

So we can't put up flyers without permission from the University? Lame

As For the tabling, I think we just have to get a group to sponsor us not 100 percent positive. Alex Miller, in the facebook group someone posted, called and knows more about it than I do.

Yeah...any of you going to the PBS debates? We already got our tickets...we could meetup then and drive up to Morgan State to see the debate
 
A logical place to start would be in the high traffic areas and "free speech zones".

I'm sorry, I was mistaken. The permits only apply to inside campus buildings and residence halls.

Excellent. I was hoping to print off atleast 30 flyers to put up around campus when we begin the chalking procedure.

For those who want to join in the chalking, flyer putting up festivities, which night is better for you Friday September 28th or Saturday the 29th?
 
Also, our meetup group needs to get its act together. From what I hear, there hasn't been a productive and high attendance meeting in quite a while. What's the point of calling it the PG County group if you don't meet in the heart and most pleasant locations in the county.

The campus is by far the most accommodating and logical place.
