Rand cannot try to play to his fathers supporters (like myself) and the mainstream republican base and expect to win.


This is unfortunately the reality. I don't see how I can honestly support a candidate who has flipped on so many key issues and judging by the polls, it seems like many people agree.
 
he's making it tough for us small gov't folks to get behind him (and, personally, it's all about a humble foreign policy)

edit: if he's still in it come primary season i'll get a full slate of Rand delegates out of my precinct, but with very very little enthusiasm
 
The purpose of this particular forum is support of Rand. It's understandable for people to get discouraged at times, or disagree on issues.

In a Rand Paul (supporter) Forum, it is better to post:

"I believe we should remove all sanctions from Iran today, with no new talk about war."

Rather than:

"I don't support Rand anymore. He is terrible. All hope is gone. I'll support Donald Trump or Bernie Sanders. Game over!"
