Yes folks, you heard it here first. I, in answer to my abundance of free time, have started a blog. It makes no claims to quality, nor to accuracy, but it is at the very least a record of my more lengthy lucubrations and contemplations.

Its aim is to provide some sort of rudimentary platform for libertarian/conservative/Constitutional/Austrian thought, though we shall see whether or not I can accomplish this effectively.

I have a whopping 3 posts as of today, and I would appreciate any feedback/insults you all could give.

Penny for your thoughts.

^^I wanted to do this for a long time, now's the perfect time.

Work on the theme (have some political colors rather than blue) and build up links so you can get more traffic. Nice blog. :)

Lots of Potential

Nice blog, Ian. I especially enjoyed the video with Dr. Paul being interviewed on FOX Business Channel.

Looks really good, I like the turkey name.

I'll be sure to check up on it and emote some blog posts. :)

F*** Yongrel.

Ok, I always wanted to say that.

Nice blog. You should get guest bloggers. Like Adam Kokesh and Menthol Patch.

When you say political colors, what do you mean?

A color scheme that incorporates red, blue and white color. These forums have a nice design that appeals to politics/philosophy/law/government/etc. http://www.campaignforliberty.com/ also has a nice color scheme. It looks very strong and vibrant (full of energy).

But then again, it's a matter of preference. I just didn't like that baby blue color. :p

Ah, ok, I know what ya mean. I was aiming for more muted colors in the "Red, White, & Blue" palette, largely because of my distaste for loud colors and louder websites.

If I can figure out how to play with the colors, I'll see if I can find something more attractive.

INFORMAL POLL.

Having read this thread, what I expect from Yongrel is(choose one):

1. Interesting news, thought and opinion.

2. A free turkey.

Pleasing enough to the eye. I wouldn't expect anymore hits from me though. I think anyone who claims to of researched 9/11 and still thinks Osama Bin Laden did it is an idiot and I got better things to do than read the ramblings of an idiot. I'm like that ya know ;).
