I think blowing off a little steam and having some fun is good for our efforts. I listened for a while, (before my batt died and it was too late to bother charging), last night. I was neither drunk nor stoned, and it was fun. Does that make me a bumbling idiot? <stumble, stumble, roll, roll>

To extrapolate DJ's performance (lol) to RP pushing a button seems ludicrous. If you weren't there you have no idea what was said. He played some good songs, had some good converstaions, had alot of fun, to a total of what 9 listeners (there were only 5 while I was on).

IMHO - someone needs to lighten up. Yes, we do not want to canvass drunk or stoned, yes the "pot" shirts in Iowa was not very smart, but freedom is great and having fun in our own ways helps to relieve the stress in our serious endeavor is important.

Big props to DJ, hope your hangover fades quick...

I appreciate your point and it is taken, but I also disagree. I wasnt able to listen to the 4:00 am hour, but first, I was not drinking and don't drink anymore infact. Second, Dj was not being disrespectful and it was very good to hear the interviews he did. Thirdly, and finally not everyone here agrees with everything each of us do so I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate me insulting you for something you do that I dont like.

DJ is helping to create the "we're all family" good vibe atmosphere of the Paul campaign. That broadcast made me laugh, feel hopeful, etc. It's important we feel connected to the campaign and each other and DJ did just that. Furthermore, he was able to turn his funny shenanigans on and off. One minute, he would be doing absurd things...the next, he would be having a deep, heartfelt conversation with a Marine who had served in Iraq. DJ is the man

dude, I busted my ass for almost 3 months to get this radio station up and running so ANYONE IN THE WORLD can hear about things going on about the Ron Paul campaign. Considering we had 400 listeners, had Americans listening for 3 other countries, and was the first source for Ron Paul's results in the Iowa straw poll.... UNITING US is THE POINT of the radio station! It's to be informed, educated, motivated, and HELL .... A LITTLE LIGHT-HEARTED, HAPPY, AND ENJOYMENT throughout this campaign. What did YOU do between the hours of midnight and 4am to advance the campaign? I'm sorry, should I spend every dying hour handing out slimjims? Listen, I finally have a weekend where I can relax, chillout, and enjoy without having assloads of work to do.

2 weekends ago, I was interviewing presidential candidates. last weekend I was managing 2 major events. This weekend.... WOW I can chill out. I'm *so sorry* if I'm not working to death anymore. But IM oh so HO, I think I deserve the break.

Well, you know, Nefertiti, it's hard to do much to advance the campaign in the middle of the night. What have YOU done at 3:00 in the morning to advance the campaign? Eh?

I woke up in the middle of the night and tuned in to the show. I heard nothing that DJ said that was disrespectful to our efforts. While I doubt he or anyone else here would think that repeating this on a nightly effort would be a good thing to do. Give the guy a break. He has worked his ever lovin' butt off to get Ron Paul Radio up and going. He is human, after all.

nef, if you had listened to the broadcast, you would know about what was going on. Clearly you think that DJ was acting like a 19 year old frat boy. In truth, he helped lift our spirits, helped unite the community in a good way, and let some people discuss plans for the Paul campaign and continuing the Freedom movement beyond the Paul campaign

DJ has done more than 99% of Ron Paul supporters and has done it at the expense of HIS OWN TIME and HIS OWN DIME. If it wasnt for Ron paul Radio, I would have personally been out in the dark about a lot of things happening in Iowa. It helped Ron Paul supporters from across the country connect to the campaign. It certainly helped morale. If we all contributed 1/10 of what DJ did, our campaign would be on top right now. So before you start bashing one of the most hardcore, positive supporters of the campaign about something that you did not even hear and know nothing about, how about you reconsider such unneeded criticism
