New FOIA request:

Guidelines for Undercover Operations by Offices of the Inspector General

No official shall recommend or approve participation by an undercover employee in otherwise illegal activity unless the participation is justified:

a. To obtain infonnation or evidence necessary for the success of the investigation and not reasonably available without participation in the
otherwise illegal activity;

b. To establish or maintain credibility of a cover identity; or

c. To prevent death or serious bodily injury to themselves or others.

The definition of Entrapment on page 14 is standard FBI "terrorist plot" protocol.

There is nothing cops can't do. Except rat on other cops. Throw 'em in the woods. I'll deal with them on my own ground.

On Ari Shaffir's most recent podcast episode, he interviewed a former NYC cop. They briefly talked about this. The ex-cop said that when someone had to take drugs while working undercover they had to report it to their superiors and go get checked out at the hospital. Then they were off the street for a few days as well.

cop: " i had to fuck these prostitutes to establish that they in fact took money for sex. i do it for freedom and the kids."

You're a typical epitimy of male jokes. You did it because you liked it-the same reason a man becomes a gynicologist-they like vaginas.... Can't say I blame the doctor-Women are like flowers in the meddow. :D
