yahoo front page: Ron Paul Sharing The Political Wealth With Like-Minded Candidates

All politicians sell donor lists, it is how must get out of debt after their campaigns.

Ron Paul isn't selling the list. He is allowing access to it by carefully selected liberty candidates for the benefit of the movement.
If you disagree with that I question your logic.

Sidster is absolutely correct.

Some of you want so badly to believe in someone or something that you either will not or cannot see the facts of the matter.

Whoa...people! While I am a die-hard Ron Paul supporter I don't have a problem w/ people like Sidster, et al concerned about renting out our e-mail addresses w/o our permission. I think you need to calm down and stop calling people traitors or trolls just because they are questioning an action taken by HQ'S that seems a little out of character. Personally I haven't received any solicitous e-mails for any other candidates other than Paul and we donated to Ron's campaign at least a dozen times or more! I don't mind if my e-mail address has been rented out but if I find it's being abused then I will simply opt out.

Thank you both for your support. I do appreciate it. I was beginning
to wonder if I was the only one here who saw a potential problem with
what is being reported.

Thank you!

Welcome to the Revolution people. I am glad some of you get what we were trying to do from the start.

The thing I and others have a problem with, and YOU have a mental
deficiency of grasping, it appears, is my PERSONAL and PRIVATE email
address.

If you are so concerned about keeping your e-mail address private, why do you give it out in the first place?

My e-mail address is truly private because I never give it out. I have a domain and whenever I am asked for my e-mail address I give out a domain e-mail address that I don't even setup and all e-mails sent to [email protected] are forwarded to my private e-mail address.

When I donated to Ron Paul I used the address [email protected] ...the receipt e-mail got forwarded to my private e-mail address...if in the future I start getting unwanted e-mails addressed to [email protected] instead of freaking out and making a big fuss about it, I will simply create a filter on my domain to delete all e-mails sent to [email protected]. I could even setup a filter that lets all e-mails from ronpaul2008.com get forwarded and e-mails from other senders get deleted.

I can't believe that people here think their email address is "private property." Do you guys own Google or Hotmail or something? Because as far as I know it's THEIR property and they're just letting you use it for free. Also an e-mail address is just an adress. You can't sue me for trespassing if I tell someone your address, only if I enter it (ie hack into your email account). This is as hilarious as when a few years ago some guy tried to sue someone for putting a hyperlink to his website with the complaint that it's HIS website.

You own the contents of the e-mail address, not the reference number itself.
