XM Radio wants to be on the blimp.. and so do many others

XM radio ad on the fin sounds like a great idea. Whether for the aditional finanical support or as free access to their audience, and possible their satellite technology? Can XM track where you its receivers are? If so, they could help out with the blimp tracking system.

The make-a-wish foundation thing is awesome too! Instead of companies donating or buying advertising space on the blimp, what if NFL make-a-wish or any company or individual could spend 5,000 or more for the child of their choice.
What a great wish come true! Flying on a blimp!

I am not so sure about XM. Would it cheapen the effect by having advertising? After Air Force One doesn't have advertising . . . I see both pros and cons . . .

No, it would legitimize the LLC as truly a for profit company, and not some cleverly hatched scheme to bypass FEC laws.
 
btw about gps tracking, EVDO cards have it built in. I am on one now and have 8 sats locked in
 
I would imagine it would be much harder for any media person to dislike Ron Paul after getting to ride on the Ron Paul blimp....definitely free rides for all media worthwhile.

I agree those bastards ignore us and now they want to ride for free on our dime.

They should cough up the money they ride for per minute. No free rides I say.
 
Make sure it doesn't make us look . . . I don't know what word to use. You know, don't get too shallow if you're going to accept advertising. But, in saying that, I like the Make a wish idea. Charities would be a nice addition, especially around Christmas, there's going to be a bunch o' kids goin' empty handed.
 
So glad to see this is happening and what an immediate impact it is seeming to have.
