WTF -- whisper "Raise Taxes"?

I heard it before Romney spoke. It's probably in his ear - someone backstage?

We all heard it. Someone fed it to him.

Lucky for him they did. You could tell by the look on his face that he had no clue what Regan did and was in distress until he got the answer.

before you guys go oliver stone on this, it's pretty clear it was btwn the moderators. they said (post-debate) that they were receiving emails and faxes throughout the debate stating diff't things; i think their questions evolve as the debate progress- they were likely just sharing info.

Listen again to it. There is no reverb when the whisper says raise taxes. You can clearly hear the reverb when Romney and the Moderator are talking. Whatever mix the whisper was using, meaning whatever microphone he was talking into was NOT mixed to be played to the audience in attendance.

So the question becomes what was his mix intended for and why did we only hear it at that moment, and why was it broadcast into the DIRECT live feed? Also, how was the voice on the mix basically able to predict the future on what Romney was going to say? Those are the questions that need to be answered.

The plot thickens...MSNBC First Read had a post asking if others heard the "raise taxes" whisper...now that post on First Read has disappeared. If they found out it was a simple "moderator whispering into his mic" why not just post that? Why remove the entire post and pretend it wasn't ever there. Go to Google and type in "MSNBC First Read Romney raise taxes whisper" and its the second hit. Of course the link is dead now. Oh, how I love a good conspiracy!!

The sad reality is the fact that the establishment has tremendous influence over the election process. guys... it was not a tip-off. somebody's microphone was hot when it shouldn't have been, they were mocking him by saying "raise taxes." if he had an ear piece and you could hear it that clearly through it, he would have been deafened. if someone was feeding him lines, there is no way in hell they would have had a microphone wired into the mains.

You know, I'm not sure about this, but it sounds as if someone was prodding Russert to continue with his question... as if someone (another moderator? director?) sensed Russert was going to finish the question right then and there without loading it with the specific raise taxes tidbit... you can tell Russert, after the whisper, tries to regain the questioning by saying the bit about Reagan raising taxes...

the question was to get romney off guard since he is a so called reagan fan. so russert didnt exaclt said what ronald did in 1983 he assumed romney knew but as always he knew after the feed told him.
