WTF IS DogeCoin?

I've seen a number of pump and dump new coins lately. Worldcoin has been very vocal in the /r/litecoin postings. mincoin is very fishy looking. So they make a new coin + exchange, do an expensive buy or stack the numbers and bam, super popular new coin! Quark is also one of those pump up from nothing pre-mined nonsense coins.
 
I feel like they gotta show the volume on that page. I wonder if some of these valuations are based on very small trades.

Both MinCoin and WorldCoin have been around since April when the storm of alts came about. They're not exactly new compared to a lot of other alt chains, and the WorldCoin guys seem to be trying to make a difference rather than just make a quick buck.

You can set up an account at Cryptsy and trade in all the alt coins. I don't think they accept US dollar so you would have to deposit bitcoin or litecoin in there to purchase other alt coins.
