Write in Ron Paul or Vote for Chuck Balwin?

I'm really torn. On one hand, I think that since the Constitution Party and Libertarian Party would rather fight windmills than actually join the Revolution, they are hurting those of us who are working towards real change. On the other hand, Pastor Chuck Baldwin is a great man, and I can only think of one better candidate. It will take some soul-searching, and I may not decide until I step into the voting booth.

I think it's important to bear in mind that a "write in" campaign is just as much a "windmill fight" as anything else. I think Ron Paul made the right decision to run as a Republican, and Chuck Baldwin steadfastly supported him in that decision. Dr. Paul has decided not to "burn his bridges" but running third party. (At least that's what I've come to believe by all of his public statements on the subject.) I TOTALLY respect those who want to write Ron Paul in, but there is simply less of a chance of someone (even Ron Paul) winning on a write in campaign than a LP, CP or even GP candidate winning. One of the ways the media hurt us the most was when they implied even prior to super Tuesday that Ron Paul had dropped out of the race. After the GOP convention, unless Dr. Paul publicly changes his mind, they will finally be telling the truth.

I was going to write in Ron Paul but I will probably vote for Chuck now that I know he's running. Realistically I don't think it matters, either way it's a form of protest the the established system that we aren't going to overcome in this election.

Perhaps if the CP's platform was changed to include all religions, or just say God I could accept it. They scare me too much. I like Chuck but I think I will wait on who the LP nominates.

While Bob Barr has the most name recognition, his rhetoric doesn't match up with past votes.
