Uggggh! Call me a "single issue voter" I suppose, but I could never support anyone who supported TARP.

Ditto, the other is the patriot act. If you vote for it, you are not about small government or liberty. And guess what, PR voted yes for it as well.

One of my favorite Paul Ryan fumbles is when he voted to tax AIG out of their bonuses (which were part of a contract), only to have to come out soon after and say "er... oops. I guess I shouldn't have voted for that."

It seriously makes us look quite superficial of the most important issues. How could anyone who believes in 1/10th of what RP believes in EVER vote for TARP or support our effed up foreign policy? How could they take a pension when our country is economically drained?

He's pretty, he's got some decent rhetoric to placate the tea partiers--but he's more of the same. Just like Rubio.

Gotta give it to the neocons, they've recognized the value of decent rhetoric and handsome people...

Now as to how they'll vote? Hahahahahahahahahaa.....we already learned with Scott Brown, didn't we? **crickets**

LOL, I should have checked up on Ryan's record beforehand. But it WAS a decent speech... haha

Still, I think Ron is having a bigger impact on the congressional GOP than the media etc believe. Having a Paul in the Senate makes things even better!

To someone above, I don't think a pension is so bad. I do understand and greatly admire Ron's perspective, but in the private sector a pension, whatever it is, is part of your compensation. I don't use that alone as a criteria, although I do think our representatives should be more concerned with making it reasonable. However, since Ron is about the only one not taking it, it sure is compelling when someone doesn't!

Only if you have a disdain for free market capiatalism, can one vote for the bailouts. Paul Ryan is a trojan horse.
