"If only the Democrats had this much diversity in their party" - the speaker after Ron Paul left the stage.

So a true conservative message is diversity? Great spin.

I thought it was a good point. A liberal then a conservative spoke from the same party. I'd say that's diversity

it kinda implied that Ron Paul is the conservative running while McCain is the liberal

Ya, I was like "uhhhhhh"

But at least before he was like "let's give it up one more time for RP", etc

I took it to mean that Paul's message was the differing one since he said it after PAUL'S speech.

The "diversity" line is supposed to imply that RP is on the fringe.

He was pro-paul by far!! You could hear the enthusiasm in his voice!

Great stuff, can't wait for the youtube!

He'll be thinking Diversity when conservatives don't vote McCain.

I didn't think he was taking a shot at Dr. Paul ... I think he was pointing out Paul is Conservative and McWar is a socialist

Why didn't he say it after McCain then? Sorry, someone posted earlier that booing was supposedly banned(well the thread title said it) at CPAC for McCain. If true, then I doubt he was taking a shot at McCain.

Who was speaking?

The CPAC conference organizer speaks highly of Ron Paul and calls him the conscience of the conservatives. Of course you all knew that as I'm sure you read Google news today.

I actually took it to be a shot at the Democrats. The Dems are all fighting over the man vs woman, black vs brown vs white crap. Ron Paul doesn't have ANY of that, he is a candidate that doesn't care who is supporting him as long as they want freedom for themselves and everyone else. Freedom has no racial or economic divides.

I guess everyone will interpret the line differently but I was watching awhile BEFORE Ron Paul came on and heard nothing but positive stuff about him. Before they introduced Barr (who then introduced Ron Paul) the one guy asked if there was any Ron Paul supporters in the crowd. Of course there was lots of cheering and sign waving. Bob Barr was incredibly supportive of Ron Paul and had a great introduction. I seriously doubt that they would end all the positive stuff with something negative especially with all those wound up Ron Paul supporters right there. LOL
