Mitt Romney Wow, and this is supposed to be the guy that's clobbering everyone in the polls....

PLEASE don't show up. PLEASE. He is the most boring person to listen to, and it means Ron will get more time than usual.

Far be it for me to agree with anything that comes out of Romney's two-faced mouth, he does have a point. These debates are getting stale, monotonous, and have long since served their purpose. There really isn't anything new or substantive coming from these recent debates, and with the litany of youtube and other related video clips and news articles, if the voting public doesn't already know essentially what these candidates stand for by now regarding the issues, they never will.

I agree with Mitt. Enough is enough.

It's just the timing of it all.

Romney gets called out by everyone last night. His record and his positions on the issues are FINALLY called out at a debate, for ONCE. One day later, he says he's not going to commit to the debates. Suspicious, in my opinion.

I think the whole "These debates are getting stale and annoying" is just a cop-out for "I got called out by my colleagues to defend myself, and I was a little shaken. What am I going to do if they keep doing it at future debates? And how will I face Obama if I'm the nominee?!"

At this point in the primary cycle, if you need a debate to confirm that Mitt Romney is a two-faced self-serving moderate, chances are it won't matter, you'll vote for him anyway for a shallow or superficial reason, making his character flaws a moot issue.

Mitt Romney said during the recent FOX debate he supports the NDAA because it gives the military more money.

I am not religious, but sometimes I sure wish there was a hell.

Like a discussion about this here last week, the fact that Romney ducked interviews for over a year to protect his position was a sure sign he would make noises about skipping out of more debates.
