AP Photos planned MINNEAPOLIS (AP) Dark horse GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul brought his message of freedom to the University of Minnesota on Monday night, the eve of the state's Super Tuesday precinct caucuses.

The 10-term Texas congressman was greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of about 4,000 supporters. He told them he'd restore personal liberty, end the war in Iraq, get America out of its foreign entanglements, restore a sound dollar, and follow the Constitution.

While Paul has been a successful fundraiser over the Internet, that's translated into little support in the primaries or polls so far.

Paul told reporters beforehand that his decision about whether to stay in the race after Super Tuesday will be based not on how he finishes, but on whether his support continues to build.

I'm soooo proud of my home state of Minnesota!!

I wish that I could have been there tonight. But with the weather earlier today I just didn't feel that driving that far north (2 hours on good roads) was worth the risk.

It's late, but I can't wait to watch the video (WHERE?!) of this tomorrow afternoon before the caucus!

Polls all exclude Paul, Too Good to Report

I have to say, I watch the coverage of this election and two thngs really come across,

The polls are total B.S. Media is high damage control

First, national polls, are up for Paul to 7%, and State by State there is no mention of any numbers for him, now, what does that mean?

Considering Connecticut Straw poll had Paul was very competitive, and Huckabee with a no count.

So, I guess we shall see, but I think we have broad base support, and we should be confident. I think the MTV closing arguments went very well for Paul.

I also notice that the media is not educating the public on the importance of Delegates, and seems to tout Obama everywhere they can, and of course McCain

So, with this in mind stay steady, and get yourself out to vote, and keep up the Grassroot efforts.

Close to standing room only. I was suprised by the diversity of people there. All ages, colors and hair styles. From military buzz cuts to extensions and dreads. Very cool made me miss living in the cities, till I had to pay the parking lot fee.

Those pictures are great but what you do not see is an even larger second floor that was nearly full. I was also impressed by the diversity of the crowd. Minneapolis really paid some respect to the good doctor.

Oh and the rally started with a guy playing an anti bush song on an acoustic guitar, something I did not expect at a republican rally. (Pleasantly surprised)

Darn, I thought it was in the street like Obama's mass fascist gatherings. That would've been too much ownage.

Was a little cold there though I guess.
