Those evil capitalists...lowering their prices and developing new technologies to voluntarily attract customers...! How dare they!
Oh and I guess to answer the thread title, no I would not.
A few reasons why:
1) Federal Reserve Notes are not stable to hold onto.
2) I really don't care for money that much.
3) The Internet is my bridge to sane and rational people. It allows me to communicate with so many people I otherwise would've never met. It lets me learn so many amazing and great things. The internet truly is the best invention IMO. Just simply because of communication and learning.
Hmm... I'd have to say a lifetime of being allowed to access the internet is worth more than 1 million, to me at least.
I would consider permanently giving up internet for maybe $3 million.
I wouldn't give it up for any amt of cash. Once a kid offered me $500 for one of my dogs. I told him you don't have enough money to buy him. You could offer me $5, $10, $500 million etc and I wouldn't sell him to you. He didn't understand.
Would I give up the interwebz for 1 million? Absolutely. In a heartbeat. I would finally be able to build a generator for my cabin in the woods and spend my time fishing, hunting, gathering, chopping wood, reading, writing .. Well, I spend a lot of time doing that already, but after that I'd be able to get out of the Babylon for good.
In answer the to the OP, yes I would give up internet for 1 million dollars. I managed to get by w/o internet until I first got it in my teenage years and I could get by without it even better with a million dollars in my pocket.
