It's "enlist" not "inlist". I would not enlist in the armed-forces again unless there was an attack on American soil by an actual army. I have already served 4 years - I did my part. If absolutely needed, I would answer the call. Otherwise, now that my debt has been repaid, I'll enjoy my life and sleep-easy knowing that I served my country.

The only way I would join the military under any president, is if we were under a direct attack by a foreign army. In that case, I would be right up front killing the bad guys and putting their heads on the top of poles.

I don't believe in having a regular army, I prefer a militia based military delegated to each state, and I think that gun ownership should be required. No one ever invades Switzerland because of this kind of a policy.

I would not, under any president, short of the country being directly attacked. As Ron Paul points out, we're not in danger of that happening any time soon.

Serving in RP's military would actually empower me to honor my oath to uphold and protect the Constitution from enemies, both foreign and domestic. However, at my age and physical condition the basic training would probably kill me.

Maybe I should get away from the computer and go for a walk handing out RP Literature.
