Would Romney still debate Paul if all the other candidates drop out after South Carolina?

Just a hypothetical, what happens once the other candidates drop out and it's just Mitt vs. Ron? Would Mitt debate Paul one on one?

Romney doesn't go to anything unless he absolutely has to go. If he doesn't show up 1 v 1, there is no debate and nobody but Paul fans would really cry foul, so I think it's pretty obvious he would decline...or the networks might just go ahead and cancel them anyways without asking anyone, which is also likely. The more interesting scenario is: What if only 3 remain? Will he show up then? Seems more likely there could only be 3 left after SC.

I agree that Newt stays through Florida, but do you really think he'll be included in Super Tuesday?

I think Perry is done after SC, almost no matter what (unless he wins). Santorum we'll leave post Florida or post NV.

We could see a situation where it's Mitt, Paul and Santorum. Lets just hope it won't be a repeat of 2008 where Mitt gets like 60% of the delegates after super tuesday while the other 40% is split between Santorum and Paul. Because if that happens, Mitt will have all the money he needs to sweep the other states and get over that magic number.

No he won't and RON WILL NEED TO ATTACK HIM FAIRLY SOON! I suspect most people dropping out after florida so we better be attacking romney a little before florida. It needs to start sooner rather than later. The good news is that we can keep doing money bombs because we have such a dedicated base and the campaign will run ads in each states primary. This is how we will win after florida.
