Its a cesspool pretty much.

On my way home from work, I always look at the pedestrians to get a bead of things to come, always have done this. All hispanic and most, illegal immigrant. The old school my daughter went to, 70% hispanic - most from illegal immigrant parents.... yes, I know this for a fact.

Sure, I am painting an anti illegal immigrant picture - but that is really a HUGE HUGE issue, yet its not really talked about. The politicians are mostly corrupt and spend spend spend. Its really terrible.

Like a previous poster, I can't see myself moving until my little enclave is over-run. I assume 5 years.

I hope somebody would hang, over all the overpasses, large signs that read:

"Welcome to Mexico"

I really think people from other states do not understand our situation fully, they will soon once we get overwhelmed.. Our complaints about immigration during the 70s, 80s, 90s etc. went to deaf ears with the power elites back east.

Honestly I think Immigration in general needs to be reduced, Illegal or Legal. We are becoming a 3rd world state, and a failed one at that.. Immigration worked best when it was european with common values and religion and which could easily melt into a pot adopting american traditions and language.. What we got now is a rotten salad bowl.

Yeah, This is both a Democratic and Republican problem in California with am awful lot of Hypocrisy to go across both. The Republicans wanted cheap slave labor for corporations, which includes H1B VISAs and the Democrats giveaway every entitlement for votes. I used to work and live CA... never again. I constantly hear from ex-coworkers, friends, etc that it has turned awful. ALL that I spoke to feel they are being ripped-off by the Californian Government.

One friend just informed me that, when you sell your home for a profit, the CA State Tax Franchise board keeps $35,000 for one year. You receive no interest, and you have to ensure they give you the money back.

Yeah, there's Tyranny for Profit of Socialist Communist State of California.

What's this? All the government's spending programs and tax increases aren't stimulating the economy?! Impossible...

Someone tell Paul Krugman. I'm sure he'll have an answer for us. It will probably be something along the lines of "the problem is that they haven't spent enough."

Lies, lies! These economic "realities" staring me in the face have to be lies! I will never accept them! Higher taxes and government spending are the only true ways to economic prosperity, besides, where would we be without the New Deal, minimum wages and all other government interventions? Starving on dirt roads, that's probably where....
