Let's think a little bit about information that could go into an internet based brochure (we can always print it if it is received well) about Ron Paul that would meet women where they are at and get them empathizing with him on the issues.

Submit as many ideas as you like in one post.

FYI, I am a female. I believe that women are just as intelligent as men but may benefit from an approach that focuses more on the practical implications of policies rather than theory.

Ok, I will continue editing this as we come up with ideas.

"As a Christian Ob/Gyn, Dr Paul firmly believes that life begins at conception. As President, Ron Paul will work to overturn Roe v. Wade, and encourage the states to re-adopt pro-life legislation, to protect the rights of the unborn. Since Dr Paul is sympathetic to the extreme circumstances that might encourage good women to seek to terminate their pregnancies, he would encourage anti-abortion legislation that punishes practitioners for practicing bad medicine, without punishing desperate women for making bad decisions."

I know I'm not a woman, but that's my two cents. Carry on.

i think lots of pictures and as little words as possible would be nice. you cant go wrong with pictures. although, it would be a lot more expensive to print. pictures like:

Dr Paul as a doctor helping black, hispanics, AND white people when he was practicing medicine.
Dr Paul as a doctor with a baby child with mother when he was practicing medicine.
Dr Paul army picture with his son on the bicycle.
Dr Paul with Ronald Reagan.
Dr Paul with his wife Carol
Dr Paul in congress

Maybe have a list of what Dr Paul voted for or against.

"As a Christian Ob/Gyn who delivered over 4000 babies, Dr Paul firmly believes that life begins at conception.
I'd add this fact.

Unisex........Dr. Paul is the only candidate who has a viable plan to balance the federal budget, stop undeclared wars and reinstate lost liberties.

Anybody will need to invest several hours listening to him speak in order to "get-it".

English isn't my native language, so please don't be too critical of the formulation of the sentences. Feel free to correct mistakes :) :

"Dr Paul believes that education should be the responsibility of parents and teachers, giving them the freedoms to choose what's the best for pupils. He is a strong advocate of the freedoms of parents to homeschool their children, and to send them to religious and private schools. He opposes no child left behind. His plan to restore America gives educational freedoms back to the parents by abolishing the unconstitutional department of education, thereby getting rid of the out of control federal bureaucracy that only does harm to the education of our children."

"A lot of families suffer from the fact that their loved ones serving in the military are deployed to foreign lands. Children often can't see their fathers or mothers for months. Many soldiers are coming home from their missions injured and demoralized. As a Vietnam vetran, Ron Paul understands the problems of the veterans. He wants honor the service of these men and women by giving them the benefits they deserve for their service to the country. Dr Paul also wants to bring acitve duty troops home to defend the United States and not Germany or Japan. He wants a strong national defense that takes care of our borders and not the borders between Afghanistan and Pakistan."

The problem is the Young Women voters, who instantly side with Democrats due to their stance on Woman's Rights, and Gay Right's. Include the factors of Obama's charm and speaking abilities, and it's just a hard voting block to gain.

"American consumers are suffering from continuously rising prices for gasoline, food, and many other goods. Ron Paul wants to stop the inflation by providing a sound dollar and balancing the federal budget. He predicted the financial crisis which started in 2008 years ahead (2001, 2003), because he understands the importance of sound money and stable prices."

Well, chances are low that we are going to get any card carrying members of NARAL to vote for Dr. Paul but we can certainly get republican women to vote for him. :)

It's got to have that pic of that baby giving Ron's nose a high five. :)
This? It's not exactly the nose...

Some thoughts- I'm not really great at a few lines, I'm wordy, so let those gifted with condensing condense away. :) Maybe emphasize his oath to cause no harm as a doctor who delivered 4,000 babies, bringing them safely into the world vs. his oath to uphold and defend the constitution was taken with the same seriousness and integrity as he has done for decades against the corruption in DC, that he will not send our nation's sons and daughters into harm's way unless our country is in danger. In that vein, our troops take that same oath and they trust him by giving him what they can afford to donate, to look out for them, to defend the Constitution against enemies as they do. I would definitely mention that he is a man of principles, a man married to the same woman for 54 years, a man without a closet full of contradictions, affairs and lobbyists. His work as a doctor is very moving as well- that he would refuse Medicaid while maintaining an office policy that those unable to pay would not have to and his staff was instructed to treat them the same as his paying clients. A gifted person could string all of that together in a way that is briefer yet flows.

Know what impacted me awhile back when I read it? I think it was in his Revolution book maybe? The story of watching the doctors throw the baby in the bucket after a late term abortion and how it shaped him.

On the abortion business, I'm of a mind that women are more interested in solving the problem rather than defining the problem. Life begins at conception/life begins at implantation. Whatever. Women are interested in the common cause of limiting the suffering of both scared would-be mothers and helpless would-be babies. We're tired of political divisions labeling right and wrong. Neither side wants abortions. Somehow we've let politicians divide the female community. It feels a bit that we've been co-opted into someone else's cause.

What about creating a country that values life? What about condemning generals and presidents who kill the fruits of our wombs? How about setting an example before condemning daddy-starved kids who'd rather please a man than bring one to term?

Could we maybe do something like a grocery store type analogy? ;) A grocery aisle with things we think are important with dollar tags on them and then a "budget"?
Just an idea

I like this too. For someone who is pro-life, perhaps tie in the fact that our government will need our children for the wars they continue to create!
