Why the hell is Dr. Paul not getting the female vote? It isn't a problem for anybody else.

And that is certainly costing us a strong third place finish in NH.

Something is wrong with the "message", I think.

Thoughts?

We've emphasized the Founding Fathers too much.

We need to bring Molly Pitcher and Abigail Adams unto the stage.

Revolutionary female emphasis couldn't hurt, but don't be so quick to denounce "the message."

Don't forget, people, generally, are shallow. John McCain is a sexy, strong war veteran, so that could have something to do with it. Ron Paul, though logical sound, isn't so strong and sexy. Woman will be women (and NO, I'm not trying to be chauvinistic). :)

I agree with the above post. Ron Paul does need to include WOMEN revolutionaries in his speeches, not just Washington, Jefferson, Adams, and Jackson.

We are witnessing the cult of personality live from Nashua, NH as McCain speaks to his minions.

The independent thinking women are going to Obama for whatever reason.

Probably because they value aborting fetuses and poor people more than civil liberties.

His stance on abortion is not likely to make him popular amongst independent women.

But what can you do? He stands for what he stands. Trying to soften the image, would be putting a false light on the subject. At least we know where he sits.

He's not even slightly sexy and looks too old to be very strong. I think with a lot of women, it's the abortion issue.

He also needs to crack more jokes like the one in the ABC debate.

Charisma is a big factor for many. And we also need to trumpet the Homeschooling, Healthcare Choice, and others.

Look...someone may be upset by my saying this, but it is true that some female voters base their vote on looks, whether consciously or not, and they love Huckabee's puppy dog eyes and tone of voice, they love Romney's coif and stern gaze, and they love McCain's reserved anger when he speaks. It really boils down to sexual turn ons and who reminds them of their daddy.

The Republican would have won every presidential election since Nixon if women didn't vote.

Women tend to dislike small government messages.

No, it's dead on. It's just that conservatives don't appeal to women. Yes, we have some great women here who support Ron Paul, but on the average, women do not like conservative, small government messages.

Some of us have some sense and use logic over emotion. Then again, I've always been a tomboy if that has anything to do with it. ;p

Plus, I find RP adorable in that wise, grandfatherly way.

How about focusing more on the OB/GYN angle? Women LOVE their OB/GYNs. How about showing Dr. Paul as a doctor in some ads to get the women voters more intrigued. The "I delievered over 4,000 babies" line isn't gettting through.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

So what about all those women voting for Hillary?

abortion is killing us, Paul needs to take more a stance of its not something the feds should be talking about, make it a state issue.
