Woman Hurls Rock, Sics Pit Bulls on Reporter

I see a reporter and cameraman on a public street being attacked. The violence is not coming from the reporter. I wish the cameraman would have had a handgun and defended himself and his co-worker. I am not a fan of reporters in general, but imagine if this were Ben Swan having rocks thrown at his head. Not cool.

I want to throw rocks at them when they are on tv.......
So do I, but we are intelligent people that know better. In that situation we would tell them no, or hell no, and go inside. We wouldn't get a bat and use our dogs to assault them. This woman is a perfect example of what is wrong with society today, and she is feeding into the demonizing of pits as well.

Seriously, just look at the language used in this article:

“I’ll be right back,” Lawrence said before returning with a metal bat. Then, she turned her two, huge, aggressive pit bulls on the woman, who dropped her mic as she tried to run from the dogs, screaming, but one apparently managed to bite her arm.

Also, animal control went back for the two dogs but could not find them. She'll go to jail if she does not give them up. It's a mandatory 10 day "quarantine," and I can guarantee they'll find a reason to put the two dogs down. Funny anymore?

I know you're right, and I see your point about the dogs entirely. But still...:o seeing those "reporters" turned into the ones being hounded and harassed wasn't entirely unpleasant.

The woman also derogatorily referred to the race of the reporter. Hate crime?

Those 2 cute puppies were just playing with the lady reporter. Apart from the throwing of stones, I did not see any other case for assault. If the same scenarios was duplicated with my friends Chihuahua, that reporter lady would be needing stitches now. So better get ready to ban other breeds of dogs that would have done much worse to a panicky stranger than we saw in the video.

My only problem is that yet again the camera is put in front of another crazy black lady for the world to see. The pitbull in the video segment is not the problem, they did nothing wrong and no sane person will come out with a negative view of pitpulls from watching that video. Just cant say the same for inner city black women

I know, huh. People worried about the dogs, and not the crazy black woman portrayal. You would think getting a rock thrown would be the first clue that she didn't want to talk... ...then the baseball bat, but the reporter still doesn't get a clue. So the dogs come out. That finally clued the reporter in.

And why wouldn't some woman want to talk to the press about her boyfriend shooting her daughter? Geeze. People!

The reporters weren't on her property when the dogs were let loose. She doesn't own the sidewalk, or the street, or the next block over without a restraining order and radius amount set.

BS man, you know better. There's getting a person getting another off their property, and then there is forcing your dogs to chase someone off your property down the street.

Oh.. I agree,, to an extent. I am a fan of a Rock Salt loaded 12ga for incidents like that.

Pepper her with salt she might get the message.
Get away from me.

I didn't even know that was the story. I think I am a little more sympathetic to the woman knowing the situation shes dealing with. The man he loves killed the daughter she loves. I cannot begin to imagine what she is going through her head right now. Very tragic story

I dunno which state this is but isn't there a law in most states that shield victims families of violent crimes from media harassment? They should have respected her privacy when it was clear she wasn't in the mood to talk. I guess she is a "crazy" lazy due to the fact that shes grieving the loss of 2 loved ones.

That was funny seeing her run in those heels. She didnt get hurt so its okay to laugh.

I agree with this to a point. The reporter has no shame. To question a grieving family about how they feel that a man was apprehended for her daughter's death? All they want is emotion because it sells. Same with that show The First 48 and how they record the victims family as they are told their child is dead. It just is not respectful and I am surprised more incidents like this one aren't the result. The hell did she expect to happen? Don't go harassing grieving family members for a story and perhaps you wouldn't get attacked. It's common decency and should be common sense. Unless that is, you are looking to provoke a response so your little news story can go viral.

I feel no sympathy for the lady. Doing your job is one thing, being a whore for emotional media is another.

No,, she used her dogs to defend her home against an intrusive assault against her privacy.

The reporter should have left when told the first time. Long before the bat,, and before the dogs.

The reporter was on a public sidewalk, on a public street.

Point of Order - the daughter isn't dead. She was wounded, but hospitalized for less than a day.

This all sounds hilarious, except I dread the idea of these dogs being destroyed as a result of the owners trashy behavior.

Her dogs bit a woman. The outcome would be the same if they were chihuahuas. I feel bad for the dogs, for having such a dumb owner, but yeah, the unreasonable racist black lady throwing rocks is funny.

Which is why I no longer live in such a place.

Harassing me outside my home and claiming "Public Property" will invoke an unfriendly response.

At this point,, I am a 1/4 mile from "Public Property". And I have dogs..

don't worry about the dogs. ;)

No, they wouldn't, which is the problem. Agree to disagree.

A big point too. I did not know this.

Still hard for me to feel sympathy for the lady. Probably due to the MSM and wishing that one day Dana Bash gets a similar treatment. Or that other media whore Megyn Kelly.

Maybe I'm a little biased after listening to the dozens who sold their souls for a nice house and car. Probably less, even.
