The Israeli government has announced that it plans to remove what is left of the Palestinian presence in Gaza and with it demolish what buildings remain. US backing for the project is essential to its success. Also today: Congress still determined to throw you into jail if you boycott Israel.

And to everyone who isn’t allowing themselves to be blinded by their own personal pet issues or axes to grind, that’s patently obvious.

The ones who don’t see it will probably get a nice, harsh taste of what they’ve been dishing out, or at least supporting, before more reasonable heads prevail. I’d like to think I’d just sit back and laugh, and not lift a finger to help them. You know, basically show them the same compassion and consideration they’ve been showing others, including myself?

But that’s just a pleasant fantasy. My own integrity, and the fact that unlike them,, I DO realize that failing to defend their rights is tantamount to abdicating my own. So I probably will do as much as I can to help defend them in their time of need. I/m just nice like that.

I recognize it I just don't care

One of the reasons that people are against secession is that they still falsely believe they have any kind of representation in the current system.

For most folks it will be: "That's just the way things work." and simply go along with it. Like they do now.

They only get upset with Obama/Biden over rising dept, Rights violations and MIC expansion, but with Reagan/Bush/Trump it's "well, everything needs to be updated and it costs money".

A dictatorship is the last of anybody's worry. How do you think we got to where we are?
