I was at the Ron Paul speech and fundraiser in Austin, TX the other day and Jimmy Vaughn played a set which was really cool!

But it got me thinking, Why wouldnt Willie Nelson support Ron Paul? I mean, Willie is the consumate icon for "Americana" and their is no one more Americana than our own favorite constitutionalist, Ron Paul. (Not to mention both hail from the great State of Texas)

If anyone has any contact with Willie, please mention it to him. Imagine the buzz and fundraising potential!!!

willie's friends with kucinich. i could see kinky friedman supporting him though.

Willie supports biofuels. Actually, he has his own brand "Bio-Willie", or something. I'm not sure how he feels about the free market.

Willie had some very positive comments about Ron Paul during yesterday's Alex Jones radio show. He also said he thought 911 was controlled demolition like he has seen several times in Las Vegas with old casinos being brought down.

It's funny, I thought the same thing about Willie. I think he's supporting a Democrat though, probably Obama.
