What if the things that ron paul warned the american people comes true?
will the voters then vote for him what do you think?

no, they will still whine and complain and poison everything with their negativity and postpone the election til 2016.....

Can't vote for him if he's not running. He will be like 76 years old in 2012. Let the good man retire.

The solution? Vote Ron Paul 2008. If he's not the Republican nominee, write him in.

He shouldn't run in 2012 because he will be too old. I propose that we hold a convention of Ron Paul supporters after the election to choose who will attempt to get the 2012 Republican Nomination should Ron Paul lose this one.

And keep electing the Ron Paul Republican/ Independents.

We will eventually get a speaker as charismatic as Obama or Reagan.

I CAN ONLY HOPE the 2012 thing is real his country needs change past what anyone can do but im fighting till the END!

yup look at John McCain hes old and yet his running.

John Mccain is a year younger than Ron Paul. They were both born in August but Paul was born in 1935 and Mccain 1936.

We have to be realistic and that it is very unlikely Ron Paul will not run in 2012. America had its chance and rejected its best chance. I do think he woke up a lot of people and hopefully these people will continue towards change, I know RP made a difference in my future thinking.

I doubt he would ... Ron opened all of our eyes! He is a true living legend. What we need to do is keep the revolution going! Let's get more RP Republicans in the house to help him out!

I hope Dr. P decides to run again in 2011. That's just three years from now. Yes, he'll be 76 but he's in great shape, especially mentally. Wasn't Reagan 77 by the end of his last term? Dr. P talks and thinks faster than just about any of them(McCain for sure). Who cares how old he'll be at the end of his term, just get him elected.
Eventually some of these "Ron Paul Republicans" will be in a position to run for pres (maybe including Rand) but for the near future none have his voting record, military service, medical background, etc..

My .02

We need to start the campaign ASAP in order to have any sort of shot at winning. If we can start by saving $20 a month next month, and donate to the campaign in December, we'd have $18M if 100,000 saved up to start, and then donate $20 every month after until January 2011, we'd have $66M dollar as a launch point, plus an organization and all sorts of stuff that would've enabled us to have a solid base of 10% if not 20% and be able to win Iowa and New Hampshire, and eventually seal the nomination against a failed Obama Presidency.
