Why support anybody in the GOP primary unless it's someone worth while like Rand. Unless someone better comes along I will support Rand or my support will go with a 3rd party. I'm not going to be a cheerleader for the GOP while they put up crappy candidate after crappy candidate.he's talking 'bout the GOP primary.![]()
Meh, not really.
As is the case with most issues of importance, most AmeriKans don't give a shit one way or another.
If we're "blowing some damn ragheads back to the stone age" they'll all gather in front of their TVs, order pizza, drink beer and hoot, but beyond that, not much thought goes into into it.
I agree with you, but the guy you were replying to finds Carson acceptable in the primary if Rand does not run.Why support anybody in the GOP primary unless it's someone worth while like Rand. I Was stating a fact. Carson is not worth supporting in the primary. If it's not Rand or someone better than why bother?
I agree, I will not support Carson. jmdrake is a fan of his though.
How about this crazy scenario:
Rand does not win Iowa or New Hampshire. He drops out and endorses Romney. Romney promises him the VP slot...

Damn, I'm all out of rep for you.Tell Mitt yes, we're all for him.
But don't tell him we're going to flip flop on him later.
and then it was revealed later that romney threatened ron if he campaigned hard against him. romney was said to have told ron that he would ruin the ron paul name forever if he ran adds against him.During the campaign for the nomination, Romney was generally hawkish. But he was also socially friendly with Ron Paul to a much greater degree than the other candidates, and he successfully sought Rand Paul’s endorsement. In his pre-endorsement conversation with the younger Paul, Romney sought to assure him there was some daylight between his foreign policy and George W. Bush’s.
