Will it be Kaine or Biden?

With the video that came out today, the DNC must be gathering to discuss the switcheroo. Question of how hard it may be to actually get Hillary to step down aside, who do you think they name as her successor? You have to figure they'd prefer Kaine with his ambiguious sexual orientation and blackmail potential. But Biden is probably the better bet to beat Trump, which is important if Hillary puts up a fight and the process of replacing her is protracted and messy. Also, if you pick Biden its less complicated because you don't need to come up with a new VP as well.

Is Warren a wild card candidate? Will all the Bernie people be pushing for her?

Switching to Warren from battled Hillary would not even register in the minds of most democrats. Pull it!

What process is in place to replace a Presidential candidate at this point? Does it effect ballot access? Seems as though they sometimes go ahead and run dead people, so maybe there is no process.

We all know the answer to that. The same people that rigged an entire election against Sanders aren't going to select him in a process where they have complete discretion to pick whoever they want and no election is even necessary.

Very good point.

But I thought that the question should be thrown in the mix for the sake of fairness in political process.

Biden would probably be a unifying candidate for the Dems with 99% name recognition.

Of course, they'll stick with Hillary.

The democrats just lost their number one argument. Her health has disqualified her from office. The Clinton campaign is over unless Trump falls on his sword.

Going to go kaine/sanders

Kaine would actually be a good choice.

He is likable, popular with constituents and seems honest.

That does NOT mean I support his every policy- but he is MUCH better than Hitlery and much farther center than The Bern, from the info I've been able to gather.

Trump is going to make a "rude comment" about her health in the debate, she'll come back sounding "firey", and it'll win her the election.

Many months ago I heard someone say that Hilary will drop out of the race for some reason and Biden will come in and take her place. It's kinda crazy that now it looks like that's within the realm of possibility.

Trump doesn't have to make a rude comment. He just has to say at the end of every argument and I have never fainted in my life and he would win any argument against her.

Looks like they get to pick whoever they want based on their rules.
Article 2, Section 7 of the DNC Bylaws says that if there is a vacancy on the national ticket, a special meeting of the Committee ” shall be held on the call of the Chairperson,” where they would choose a new candidate. Such meetings make decisions based on a majority of those in attendance.

Hillary would not want Warren, if she can't be the first female president, she would want that reserved for Chelsea. Biden is ready, willing and would have Obama support.

Why on Earth would the DNC insert someone that no one voted for? Bernie is the only logical choice.

Kaine would also drop out, Booker would be front runner.

as to why they would pick someone who did not run, same for GOP, they would pick Ryan if they could
