What do you all think? And if he does, will it help or hurt Ron Paul's chances of securing the nomination?

Recently in interviews he seems to sure of himself.. Wolf Blitzer interviewed him and asked what he would do if he didn't take first in Florida (or something to that extent). Giuliani just smiled and said that he was going to win in FL and then they would move on to the Super Tuesday states. Ha ha. Let's hope he's wrong.

My brother said something to me yesterday that rings pretty true...

"They (all the broke candidates) do not need to drop out, all they need to do is sit there and let the MSM talk about them" It does not matter if you have money or a chance anymore as long as MSM is chatting about you

Nah, he'll stay through super tuesday at least because it's so close. He'll also probably stick it out through the Texas primary on March 4th since he has the endorsement of our slimy government and all the establishment hacks here, including his new lawfirm partners. However, I think he'll perform poorly and be a non-issue if he doesn't get first in florida.

He will drop out if he gets anything but first. FL is winner take-all and he's invested waaaaay too much time and money into that state. If he loses his campaign is effectively over.

Well if he takes 3rd his campaign is effectively DONE, but he won't ACTUALLY drop out until after super tuesday.

so if he loses FL but stays in past super tuesday, he'd just be siphoning votes away from mittens and mccain yes? :)

If he drops out, it won't be until after Super Tuesday. NY, NJ, and CT are states he might still do well in. He'd be foolish to drop after Florida. No one that is still running will drop until after the 5th.

Everyone will be in through super tuesday just because they are on the ballots and the MSM is going to talk about them no matter what.

Yeah he'll wait till after super tuesday "just in case," and then drop out right afterwards. This will not help RP, because the type of people who would vote for Giulinani would not vote for Paul.

Ghouliani needs FIRST in Florida. There is no way he can recover if he doesn't come in first. Even if he doesn't drop out, his support will collapse. He has staked everything on Florida. There will be no base of confidence in the campaign. I also believe Huckabee will be done, whether or not he drops out, if he doesn't come in the top 2. Both of them have no more money, and Huckabee still can't move his support from just Evangelicals.

If he drops out I think it will hurt Ron Paul. How many Giuliani supporters have Ron Paul as their second choice?

he will drop out because losing NY would be too embarassing for him

I think he will cancel the debate appearence and pull out

If he finishes third or lower in Florida there's no way he's going to win New York, New Jersey or Conneticut. He'll drop out rather than suffer the embarassment of losing in his own back yard.

Well, we better hope he doesn't drop out, because the chances of a brokered convention will diminish very quickly.

The only way for him to win is if he cheats which would explain his evil smile. The guy is a snake so I wouldn't put it past him or the GOP. I live in South Florida and I don't see signs for him or McCain like I do for Romney and Dr. Paul. Heck I've even seen signs for Huck here and there but they're surrounded by Ron Paul 2008 signs. :D
