Obama had an entire team of editors keeping his wikipedia entry clean during the last two election cycles and Rand is going to need a team as well.

A grassroots effort is being initiated to organize this effort.

If you are a wikipedia editor, especially one with good reputation and want to be involved please PM me and I can put you in contact with those who are organizing the effort.

From the page...

Unlike his more stridently isolationist, or "non-interventionist", father, Paul concedes a role for American armed forces abroad, including permanent foreign military bases

Ron was/is no isolationist.

This kind of language is why I don't get along well with the TEA PARTY PATRIOT folks so count me out of this one, danno.

Well that's ok, you're probably not a wikipedia editor with any status or else you would know that the isolationist language is likely coming from the enemy and that is precisely why they need a team to fend this type of stuff off ;)

Though if you change your mind, feel free to create an account and let me know.

I deleted the isolationist reference. You can tell it wasn't the Tea Party who put that reference in there because the previous sentence says he is a part of the Tea Party movement. Six or seven months ago it used to be one sentence, without a reference to Ron Paul, saying:

A member of the Tea Party movement, he supports term limits, a balanced budget amendment, the Read the Bills Act, widespread reduction in federal spending and taxation, and an isolationist foreign policy.

From Wikipedia - List of policies:
Neutral point of view:
Everything that our readers can see, including articles, templates, categories and portals, must be written neutrally and without bias.

There is no way terms like "isolationist" should be allowed to stand on anyone's Wiki. Otherwise, we can feel free to start labeling all the neocons as "imperialists" or "chickenhawks".

Right but the link to the TEA PARTY movement leads to TEA PARTY PATRIOT information and from that perspective of how the movement is defined or understood. You see?

Wiki is a headache in my opinion. Good that you made the effort though. Of course, as fast as you edit, someone comes behind you and does the same.

Jus be aware that if TPTB at wikipedia are against Rand, your editing efforts are going to be thwarted.

I have had this experience with them before and I do not trust them.

Ya but many different people can contribute to the same sentence.

I realize it is a headache, but it needs to be done. People will be searching Rand Paul's wikipedia page and if it is full of what the enemy wants, while they don't have a lot of ammo that will not be good.

If you make an edit and somebody changes it, they actually have a process at wikipedia where there is a hierarchy and you can dispute the other person's edit. Then there is some form of mediation with other wiki editors. That is why I am trying to get people who have reputation so we can have those type of people arguing on our side for which edits can go through or not.
