Why you Should NOT Vote For Bernie Sanders

I've had some major problems with the direction Luke Rudowski has taken over the past 5 years, but I do have to give him some credit for consistency. Hopefully he and Sheehan will help cut the legs off this stupid Bernie Sanders phenomenon so that maybe, just maybe we can peel some of these people off in open-primary states, though most of these people seem like lost causes apparently.

Sure, bomb the crap out of whoever you want, just get me that free stuff, aka Bernie Sanders socialism.

I don't really care why some socialist thinks I shouldn't vote for someone I would never vote for in the first place.

True, I'm in the same boat, but there are others who will see this video who are socialists who, at the very least, will be encouraged to stay home. I see nothing wrong with that.

Maybe a few, but looking at the like-dislike ratio and the comments, I don't think too many will. Libertarians are picking Rand pragmatically, and socialists are doing the same for Bernie.

You should care if you ever want to convince another socialist why they shouldn't vote for this particular socialist.

Just because socialists like to shoot the messenger does not mean socialists aren't getting the message. Maybe they are in denial and maybe they aren't, but you can't determine which by looking at how they talk about the person who bursts their bubble.

Excuse me? I'm a libertarian and I like the guy. You might be picking him pragmatically, but you're a neoreactionary anachronistic superficiality-elitist narcissist, not a libertarian. There is a difference.

I'm not against publicizing these facts, I just don't think it'll do much to hurt him. This time around, leftists are all about more gibsmedat government, not foreign policy.

Everything after "neoreactionary" is wrong or nonsensical. "Superficiality-elitist"? WTF?

You may like Rand, but he's not the perfect libertarian candidate, and many radical-libertarians aren't supporting him at all on account of it.

Only scenario that would see me voting for Bernie Sanders is if Sander won the democratic primary and the unthinkable happens and Trump wins the GOP. We all know it's going to be Bushes and Clintons again, so it's a moot point for me.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to acptulsa again.

I've been on this earth many years, and have paid attention through most of them. I've never seen radical libertarians support anyone at all. Nobody could ever be perfect enough for them.

I appreciate that you want us to tie ourselves up in knots worrying about things we cannot help. But you'll get over it.

More of them supported Ron than Rand.

Not at all. I've always said that non-pragmatic radical libertarians will always be a political nonentity, and can't help getting in their own way. I think many radical libertarians have no real desire to actually test their ideas; they're perfectly content with a monstrous status-quo, at which they can sit and take potshots. It allows them to adopt the affectation that they're "above it all" without actually doing anything of value to help civilization. I'm a young man; I want to see a sustainable, realistic social order based on liberty in my lifetime in which my children will one day thrive.
