Why the Drudge Blackout on Maine-gate?

I don't think Dr. Paul is Drudge's first choice. At best Drudge throws a bone every once in awhile.

I'm wondering what's up with the current (17 & 18 Feb) main title "Rick, Mitt, or Split".

actually they did report it....as soon as Webster announced the 'new results' which gave Romney a larger win.

There was a post about it on reddit but I can't find it. Basically everyone kept tipping drudge off about the fiasco as it was getting murkier and murkier and they wouldn't post a thing. If it was any other candidate, it would have been all over the site. Then as soon as there was a link that showed an advantage for Romney yesterday I think, it was posted under the title 'Romney remains winner in Maine' or something like that.

By the way and off-topic here but did you guy all know that Webster has a history of being accused of manipulating the results. I haven't seen it getting much attention.

In 2011 a tea party supporter and self-described constitutionalist, Phillip Merletti, who was running for office in Maine complained that Webster, Gardner, and some other GOP leadership blocked voters from voting for him so he lost. Webster called him a fringe candidate and a sore loser:

I would love to know what Merletti's thoughts are on this ordeal. I was trying to find his email address but all I could find is a phone number that was attached to an email which was circulated to his supporters and posted on a Maine Tea Party forum. Don't know if it is his or not.

His address:
Phillip Merletti (R-Lee) 124 Thomas Hill Road, Lee 04455 http://www.maine.gov/legis/house/vacancy-11.htm

and a statement from him on last years election: http://bangordailynews.com/2011/02/23/opinion/why-lee-special-election-was-flawed/
Phil Merletti, who lives in Lee, is a spokesman for Take America Back and its local chapter, Take Maine Back.
Looks like he is/was a member of the Planning Board for the town of Lee.

That Webster guy just gives off bad vibes...Vibes of someone who is a slimy cheater from the word Go. I've seen the same vibes in the GA GOP.

Hmmm.

he reminds me of walter winchell when totally awake
or hunter s. thompson when napping in the afternoon...

I'm a protestant, but I like Drudgereport. Matt is a real newsman, a rare thing these days. I just skip the articles about the Pope and Rick Santorum.

I'm surprised he's leading with the "RASMUSSEN POLL: Obama Approval at 45%, Lowest in Month -- Falls Behind Romney, Paul..." story.

especially considering the msm tactics we have come to expect, Drudge Report is very good to RP

He links to the Rasmussen Poll with a title that says "RASMUSSEN POLL: Obama Approval at 45%, Lowest in Month -- Falls Behind Romney, Paul..."

he created that title. The title of the article he links to is simply: "Daily Presidential Tracking Poll"

we all know the MSM would have ignored Paul beating Obama and would just push that Romney beats Obama and Santorum doesn't
